The IT Business Services Coordinator is responsible for working with IT and business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions and services in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment. You will have experience with eliciting business requirements, building strong business relationships, and managing and coordinating project delivery activities with multiple business stakeholders simultaneously.
Strategic Liaison with Business Units as Internal IT Business Solution Partner. Engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders to understand their business challenges. Provide business analysis and recommendations in line with industry trends, efficiency, effectiveness, competitiveness, and scope of business activities. Conduct requirements elicitation, flowchart, demo, and prototype exercises to capture, evaluate and document business requirements. Define SOW (Statement of Work) and acceptance criteria. Maintain lightweight documentation under delivery lifecycle: BRD, FRD, NRD, Solution Design, Plan, Budget, Schedule, Testing Plan/Result, RAID Log, Status, and PCR. Drafting and negotiating of project contract requirements that encompass but are not limited to implementation, software license, maintenance-support, hardware, and cloud-based services. Lead user acceptance testing, gap analysis, and prioritize follow-ups based upon severity. Design and administer communication, survey, and feedback loop in support of overall OCM, training, and adoption strategy. Develop communication strategy. Prepare reports and presentations to leaders and stakeholders Contribute to the mentoring and continual improvement of the Business Analysis, and Technical Project Management Act in a professional and responsible manner to protect the integrity of employees and the business of Rocky View County. Maintain the confidentiality and security as per administrative policy. Always adhere to Health and Safety Legislation and Rocky View safe work policies and procedures, ensuring the protection and safety of self, co-workers, the public and environment.
Completion of a Bachelor's degree or related work experience with a minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible and diversified experience. 4+ years combined experience preferred as Business Analyst and Project Management/Coordinator role in technology environment 3+ years of experience managing or leading in solution planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of business system, IT infrastructure service or other technology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships including settings with senior management. Track record of delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of business analysis techniques. Knowledge of project delivery lifecycle for ERP, Finance System, HCM, Asset, GIS, Data Integration, and/or IT Infrastructure. Hold or working toward IIBA, PMI, and/or Prosci certification a plus.
